eCom Central started inside a fast-growing ecommerce business that was scaling fast and breaking faster. Inventory lived in three spreadsheets. POs lived in email. The accountants had a different version of the truth than the warehouse, which had a different version than the marketplace reports.
We tried a lot of ERPs. Many were either built for a different century — and a different industry — or they were a thin layer over QuickBooks that didn't account for Fulfillment by Amazon inventory.
