Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how eCom Central Inc. ("eCom Central", "we", "us") collects, uses, protects and deletes information when you use the eCom Central website and service. Questions can be sent to hello@ecomcentral.com.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, work email address and company name.
• Amazon seller account data: when you connect your Amazon seller account through authorized API access, we import orders, settlements and financial events, fulfillment center inventory, inbound shipments, removals and reimbursements data.
• QuickBooks Online data: data from the QuickBooks Online company you choose to connect.
• Contact form submissions: the details you send us when you contact us.

2. How we use information

We use information only to provide the service: purchasing, receiving, the inventory ledger, FIFO costing, reporting and QuickBooks Online sync, and to communicate with you about your account.

• We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising.
• We never use one customer's data for another customer.

3. Amazon buyer personal information

We do not request or store Amazon buyer personal information (PII).

4. Security

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest (AES-256).
• Role-based access controls within the application.
• Least-privilege access for our staff, with multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Logging and monitoring of systems that process customer data.
• A documented incident response process. We notify affected customers — and Amazon, where required — within 24 hours of discovering a security incident.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Data is deleted within 30 days of account closure or upon written request to hello@ecomcentral.com. You can disconnect your seller account at any time, which stops further data import.

6. Subprocessors

We use hosting and cloud infrastructure providers to run the service. They are bound by confidentiality and security obligations and process data only on our instructions.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can withdraw a connected account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email hello@ecomcentral.com.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
